ISLAMABAD Pakistan will not give up its sovereignty, even though it supports peaceful dispute settlement, Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said on Friday.
He claimed that India was the one who forced the entire region into conflict while giving his weekly news briefing in Islamabad.
The official emphasized that Pakistan reacted to Indian aggression and showed that the honor and dignity of the country will not be compromised.
According to FO spokesperson Shafqat, Pakistan initiated ‘Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos’ in reaction to Indian attacks. He stated that during this operation, the Pakistani military shot down six Indian jets.
