ISLAMABAD: On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated his commitment to accelerating macroeconomic and institutional reforms.
The prime minister made the comments during a meeting with an International Monetary Fund (IMF) group that visited him in Islamabad under the leadership of Jihad Azour.
The premier declared, “Pakistan is moving toward economic growth after achieving economic stability.”
The implementation of the existing IMF program in Pakistan was the main topic of discussion during the conference. Both parties conveyed their pleasure with the government’s economic measures and their successful results.
The IMF delegation also reaffirmed the fund’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s efforts to achieve economic stability and expansion.
