India cites “administrative reasons” for delaying mock drills in Pakistani border states.

Mock drills were scheduled to be held in IIOJK, Punjab and Gujarat on Thursday evening, says Indian media

For administrative reasons, India postponed Thursday’s civil defense mock drills in Pakistani border states, Indian media said.

Only a few weeks after a military conflict between the two nations ended in a truce, the simulated exercises were made public.

Under “Operation Shield,” the Indian government declared that it would be holding a civil defense exercise in Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Thursday.

According to the Indian media, the exercises, which were launched under the direction of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), will mimic crucial events including air strikes, drone attacks, and other warfare scenarios in response to national security concerns.
