KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) Seismic Monitoring Centre reports that three further earthquake shocks with magnitudes ranging from 2 to 3.1 were felt in the port city Tuesday evening.
The port city saw earthquake activity for the fourth day in a row.
According to the seismological center, the most recent activity has increased the total number of earthquakes experienced in Karachi since June 1 to 26.
Given the alarming circumstances, Chief Meteorologist Amir Haider Laghari stated that the minor tremors might last for an additional week due to the ongoing tectonic plate movement.
