When he went to Ashram in uniform on Wednesday to see spiritual leader Jagadguru Rambhadracharya, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi questioned his behavior.
“Civil-military relations are strained when military leaders align with partisan religious agendas, undermining the apolitical ethos of India’s secular armed forces,” said Indian journalist Sushant Singh in his X piece.

Following the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which claimed the lives of 26 tourists and for which India blamed Pakistan without providing any proof, the Indian army chief’s visit followed the four-day Pakistan-India war.
