In relation to the Jinnah House attack case, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aliya Hamza was the subject of non-bailable arrest warrants issued by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Thursday.
Details reveal that the court denied Hamza’s plea for a personal appearance exemption, stating that there were not enough grounds. Her bail surety bonds were also revoked by the court.
Aliya Hamza, who was worried about getting arrested from Kot Lakhpat jail, had applied for an exemption from attendance.
After rejecting the plea, an ATC issued arrest warrants that were not subject to bail. The case has been postponed till the following hearing.
