KARACHI: Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Afridi, four of Pakistan’s top cricket players, have signed up for the Big Bash League (BBL) draft.
Pakistan Women’s team captain Fatima Sana is one of the more than 600 international players who have signed up for the draft; her name is also on the list of players available for the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) draft.
On June 19, the BBL 15 and WBBL 11 drafts are expected to be completed.
Pakistan’s Shaheen, Rizwan, Haris, and Shadab are among the players on the first BBL 15 roster. International players including Shamar Joseph of the West Indies, Lockie Ferguson and Tim Southee of New Zealand, Sam Curran and Alex Hales of England, and Kusal Perera of Sri Lanka join them.
