US Senator Bernie Sanders has vehemently denounced Israel’s recent airstrikes against Iran, describing them as a dangerous and unlawful move that jeopardizes international security.
Sanders issued a warning that the US must not join “Netanyahu’s illegal war” in a statement that was posted on X (previously Twitter).
Sanders wrote, “This would be a serious and fatal error.”
Because of Netanyahu’s unapproved attack, the world is now considerably more perilous. The US should start working with the international community to find a diplomatic solution right away.
Sanders criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for killing important members of Iran’s nuclear negotiation team in a surprise attack, so purposefully undermining diplomatic efforts.
