Direct US military aid to Israel may drastically destabilize the Middle East, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Wednesday.
Russia warns the United States not to provide such aid to Israel or even to consider doing so, according to Ryabkov, who was quoted by the news agency Interfax.
He said that Moscow has communication with Iran and Israel.
Sergei Naryshkin, the chief of Russia’s SVR foreign intelligence organization, was cited in separate remarks as stating that the Iran-Israel situation was now grave.
