Rescue officials say 18 Daska tourists were washed away in the Swat River close to Mingora Bypass.
Seven tourists have been confirmed killed, three have been rescued, and seven are reported missing, according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rescue 1122.
In light of the impending flash floods in the river, the Swat government had already enforced Section 144 a week prior, according to Swat Assistant Commissioner Dr. Nida Iqbal.
According to her, three people have been saved thus far, while seven visitors lost their lives and their bodies were removed from the Swat River.
According to the director general of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rescue 1122, 80 personnel are participating in the search for the remaining people.
