ISLAMABAD: Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has stated that his country is prepared to form a “historic and phenomenal partnership” with India in order to fight terrorism together. He has urged New Delhi to drop its confrontational stance and start having real talks for peace.
Bilawal urged Indian leadership to abandon the zero-sum mentality and work together on counter-extremism, not as rivals but as neighbors with a shared responsibility to safeguard the lives of more than a billion people in South Asia, while speaking at a seminar in Islamabad called “Pakistan: A Bulwark Against Terrorism.”
