Awaam Pakistan Party Secretary General Miftah Ismail’s recent comments criticizing Sindh’s educational situation were rejected by Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah on Wednesday. He asserted that the curriculum in Sindh has been independently rated higher than that of other provinces in an impartial UNESCO evaluation.
In a statement, Shah stated that the Sindh government had already contested the Planning and Commission of Pakistan study that Miftah Ismail had cited, claiming it was untrue.
His comments follow days after Miftah Ismail criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for Sindh’s subpar governance, especially in the field of education.
