He has also refused to accept the raise until Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the federal cabinet have made a final decision.
Reliable sources claim that Ayaz Sadiq voiced his annoyance at Khawaja Asif’s unrelenting criticism of the Senate chairman’s and speaker’s pay increases. Sadiq stated in an official letter to the PM that he has “nothing to do with the salary hike decision” and has chosen to forego any more compensation until a final order is given.
