QUETTA: Balochistani officials reported Friday that gunmen had halted a bus that was traveling from Quetta to Lahore, resulting in the kidnapping and shooting deaths of at least nine passengers.
After stopping the bus and removing the passengers, armed attackers selectively identified and killed nine people in the area of Zhob, a town in northern Balochistan.
Naveed Alam, Assistant Commissioner Zhob, stated that after removing the kidnapped passengers from the cars, the assailants started shooting at them.
According to him, the deceased’s remains have been moved to the Rekhni hospital in Balochistan’s Barkhan area.
