More rain is predicted to start falling throughout the nation starting today (Friday) as part of the monsoon season, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
According to a statement released by the Met Office, a new westerly wave is anticipated to arrive by the evening of July 13 and moist currents are forecast to begin to intensify as they enter the country.
In several regions of the nation, these processes are predicted to cause widespread rain, wind, and thunderstorms with sporadic heavy rainfall.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan: From July 11 to 17, rain-wind/thundershowers are expected to accompany sporadic heavy, and occasionally extremely heavy, rainfall in the Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur in Kashmir.
