LONDON: After experiencing a number of issues, including a “stress” on his heart, Altaf Hussain, the founder and head of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), was admitted to a hospital in North London.
News was informed by Hussain’s party officials that he was admitted to the hospital on Thursday for a number of tests after becoming seriously ill.
The top MQM leader in London, Mustafa Azizabadi, stated, “The doctors decided to admit him to the hospital for further treatment.”
The Deputy Convener of the MQM Central Coordination Committee, Qasim Ali Raza, stated on Friday: “Today, doctors at a nearby hospital in London evaluated Mr. Altaf Hussain and recommended numerous diagnostic tests, including blood tests, ECG, CT scan, X-ray, and laser.
