BAHAWALPUR: Rescue officials confirmed on Sunday that a passenger coach collided with a car in Hasilpur, a tehsil of Bahawalpur district, killing five family members and injuring three more.
A passenger coach headed for Bahawalnagar collided with an oncoming vehicle carrying eight members of the same family on the Hasilpur-Chishtian Road, resulting in the fatal collision, according to the Bahawalpur Rescue Control.
Three people were hurt and five people died as a result of the crash.
After receiving the warning, rescue crews arrived on the scene and transported the injured to Hasilpur’s Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
Three individuals died immediately, according to officials, while two more passed away from their wounds at the hospital. According to preliminary investigations, the accident happened.
