Security forces killed three more terrorists in Balochistan’s Zhob district as part of the current anti-terror campaign. This brings the overall number of militants killed in the four-day anti-infiltration operation in the Sambaza area near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border to fifty.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that during the night of August 10–11, firearms, ammunition, and explosives were also found among the militants who belonged to Fitna al-Khwarij, an Indian proxy for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
“Security forces remain committed to secure the nation’s frontiers and thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Pakistan,” stated the media arm of the military.
This comes after 33 terrorists trying to infiltrate from Afghanistan were effectively engaged and neutralized by the army.
