Al Pacino has decided to provide followers with a full account of his life and career.
Penguin Press said on Monday that the 83-year-old actor’s all-tell book, which spans his six-decade Hollywood career, will be released on October 8.
According to the Daily Mail, the book will be called Sonny Boy: A Memoir, and he will also narrate the ebook/audiobook version.
According to the publication, Al, short for Alfredo, may also win a Grammy for the audio version, completing his “EGOT” title after previously winning two Tony Awards, an Oscar, and two Emmy Awards for his great performances from 1969 to 2004.
He was called “Sonny,” after Alan Parker’s character in the 1980 film Fame, since he was known to be a rebellious youngster at Manhattan’s High School of Performing Arts.
“I wrote Sonny Boy to express what I’ve seen and been through in my life,” the actor told PEOPLE Monday.
“Reflecting on this trip and what acting has enabled me to do, as well as the realms it has opened up, has been an extremely personal and illuminating experience. “My entire life has been a moonshot, and I’ve been extremely fortunate thus far,” he added.
