The FIA reportedly conducted a raid on the travel agency located on Main Boulevard in Gulberg. Mubashir and Ibrahim were apprehended by the FIA during the operation on suspicion of engaging in both visa fraud and people trafficking.
Numerous forged passports and visa stickers were taken from their hands by the FIA. Furthermore, it was said that the accused had taken part in robbing the public of their money.
The FIA was not satisfied with the documents provided by the accused. The accused was the subject of an investigation by the FIA.
In a related development, red-handed revenue was detained by the Lahore anti-corruption agency on suspicion of accepting a bribe from a citizen.
Conversely, Iranian plastic grains and smuggled wax were seized on Collector Mateen Alam’s orders, overseen by Deputy Collector Ali.
Seized were around 600 petroleum wax drums valued at millions of rupees.
The illegal goods were concealed in a sizable warehouse.
