KARACHI: Following ongoing traffic blockades in some areas of the port city this morning, numerous schools are still shuttered on Wednesday, hours after Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi left for Tehran.
Students could not get to their classrooms near Sharea Faisal and the airport after the roads were blocked up with the aid of containers.
Geo News was informed by the education department that all of the city’s educational institutions are open for business as normal today.
Due to the containers positioned around the Stargate at the airport, van drivers were unable to access schools to drop off students; as a result, the students had to be dropped off at their houses.
However, school administrators in the vicinity of the closed roadways have declared that their institutions remain open.
