Following their disappearance on the weekend of April 27, the bodies of American Jack Carter Rhoad and brothers Callum and Jake Robinson were discovered last week south of Ensenada in northern Mexico.
According to authorities, the three individuals were shot dead while surfing close to the city by robbers who were after their truck’s tires. Their remains were then disposed of in a secluded well that was 15 meters (50 feet) deep.
On Tuesday, Debra Robinson paid homage to her sons at a San Diego beach.
The world has grown darker for us, and our hearts are broken,” she remarked. Together, the young men were indulging in their shared passion of surfing.
