The Chicago players reported that on Wednesday, a man holding a camera harassed them outside their hotel in Washington, D.C.
The general manager of the team, Jeff Pagliocca, stated to the Chicago Sun-Times that guard Chennedy Carter was the subject of the cameraman’s attention. The man came up to Carter and her teammates on the team bus.
Security from The intervened, diffused the situation, and led the man away.
“It ended as quickly as it began,” Pagliocca said to the publication. “I have complete faith that our security will always make our players feel secure. Today was a fantastic illustration of how important they are to our group.”

It’s NASTY WORK to figure out which hotel our team is going to pull with a camera as soon as we get off the bus, stick it in my colleagues face, and HARASS her. This has to stop—it’s absolutely out of hand,” Reese wrote.
The line has to be drawn when someone harasses us at our hotel. A few “fans” are not at all chill,” Onyenwere continued on the news. “They did a fantastic job of safeguarding us and defusing the situation; we have security. It still transcends boundaries and is quite strange, meeting us as soon as we step off the bus.”
