Tuesday’s successful test landing of the calibration aircraft on the recently built runway marks a significant accomplishment for the New Gwadar International Airport (NGIAP) in terms of flight calibration and flight procedure design.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority’s (PCAA) Rescue and Fire Fighting Services Department honored the Calibration Aircraft with the traditional water cannon salute upon its arrival at the airport.
The joint efforts of the project teams from China and Pakistan have produced this noteworthy achievement.
It is anticipated that the airport will be finished and running by the end of the current year. Without the committed labor of the project’s initiators, the project would not have progressed from its original phases to this point.
