In the brief hours of Wednesday, a fire broke out at a factory close to the Karol Ghati neighborhood of Lahore, resulting in explosions in the drums of thinner and other chemicals kept inside the facility.
Rescue officials say the fire started late at night at a paint factory in Karol Ghati, close to the Ring Road. The entire factory was quickly engulfed in flames. Ten to twelve fire engines were sent by Rescue 1122 to put out the fire.
According to rescue officials, the fire broke out at approximately 10:30 p.m. Still unknown, though, is the fire’s origin.
They declared, “The paint factory, which is spread across six kanals, was the scene of the fire. The area was terrified as chemical drums kept blowing up.”
Luckily, no casualty reports exist because the factory is located far from any residential areas.
The affected factory produced chemicals, according to locals, which were then delivered to other firms nearby.
