ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has chosen to file a reference against four MNAs who joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) after gaining seats with the support of the PTI.
PTI leader Asad Qaiser claims that the party has decided to punish these members for breaking party rules during the vote on the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
Both the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the Speaker of the National Assembly will receive the reference.
Chaudhry Usman Ali, Aurangzeb Khichi, Mubarak Zeb, and Zahoor Qureshi are the four MNAs mentioned. PTI accuses them of violating the party line during the amendment vote and later aligning with the PML-N.
