The Israeli military claimed in a statement that one soldier had died and another had been seriously hurt during a military raid in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
“During operational activity in the area of Jenin,” the statement stated, the soldier “fell.”
According to Palestinian media, Israeli forces raided a pharmacy on the borders of the Jenin refugee camp, close to the Jenin Governmental Hospital. They arrested those inside and took them to an undisclosed location.
According to a local, infrastructure in Jenin and the camp was devastated by Israeli bulldozers.
