Veteran artist Neil Young has stated that the Crazy Horse Tour will not be continuing.
The 78-year-old musician made the statement on his official website after some band members “got sick” during their June 22 performance at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan.
The artist continued, saying that although the tour ‘has been a terrific experience,’ with ‘amazing audiences and music,’ they must take the ‘unplanned break.’
In an email, Young stated, “We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break,” explaining the cancellation of two Texas dates.
The band “will try to play some of the dates we miss as time passes when we are ready to rock again,” the performer stated. He went on, “We understand that many of you had travel arrangements made, and we are sorry for any inconvenience.” “I appreciate your patience and understanding. #1 is health. For you and for us, we want to continue doing concerts and recording more albums. From all of us at Crazy Horse, Neil, Micah, Ralph, and Billy Love Earth, with love and gratitude.”
