The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leader and National Assembly member Awn Chaudry made a daring declaration on Tuesday.
Speaking at an Islamabad press conference, he stated that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) apologized for what he called the May 9 tragedy, he would be willing to support them.
With accusations of using a PR firm improperly to harm Pakistan’s interests, the IPP leader accused PTI of plotting against the nation.
In particular, he accused Zulfi Bukhari of continuing the practice of writing anti-Pakistan letters to the UN Working Group, which he said had been going on since 2016.
Chaudry pointed out that these people work for the same lobbying business that is involved in the cipher drama.
