The 14-year-old youngster was practicing water entrances close to a lifeguard tower in the municipality of Ponce Inlet when he was bitten on the leg.
According to officials, his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Days had passed since two distinct biting attacks in the neighboring town of New Smyrna Beach before the attack on Monday.
In the other occurrences, a 21-year-old male was bitten on Thursday while playing football in shallow water, and a 26-year-old guy was bitten on his foot on Friday.
