ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Raoof Hasan was granted a three-day extension of his physical remand by a federal capital court, transferring him to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The PTI information secretary and a few other members of the PTI media cell have been charged by the FIA for allegedly leading a digital media cell that disseminated misinformation against Pakistan.
The authorities had stated that the “PTI digital media centre had become a centre of international disinformation, from where anti-Pakistan propaganda is run throughout the world” .
After their two-day physical remand ended, Hasan and the other arrested individuals appeared in court today.
