“I’m happy to announce the launch of a national campaign to eradicate hepatitis C. As part of this admirable endeavor, PM Shehbaz stated, “We will concentrate on decentralizing testing and treatment facilities, making sure that the services offered are suited to our residents’ requirements and in line with the global plan.
The prime minister gave assurances that all citizens would have free access to facilities for hepatitis C screening and treatment.
In the meantime, today is World Hepatitis Day, which is celebrated globally under the slogan “It’s Time for Action.”The subject emphasizes how vital it is to take prompt, decisive action to combat hepatitis globally.
The startling statistic that someone dies from a hepatitis-related illness every 30 seconds worldwide, as reported by the World Health Organization, serves as further evidence for this call to action.
