One of Hampshire Police’s officers was slightly hurt during Wednesday night’s disturbance outside the Potters International Hotel, according to the police.
They claim that after 6.45 p.m., a small percentage of the 200 attendees at the rally started acting criminally, including instances of criminal damage, racial insults, and intimidation.
Hampshire Police released a statement saying, “Officers are eager to identify the eight persons depicted in the images we have provided as part of this investigation.”
Who are the folks in the picture? Are there any details you might share that could help in our investigation?
Police are examining evidence from local CCTV cameras, National Police Air Service footage, and body-worn cameras used by their officers.
After three girls were stabbed to death in Southport on Monday, there have been several instances of disturbance across the nation.
Police haven’t connected the disturbance to the attack in Southport, though.
