According to Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar on Friday, the government has offered a package worth Rs. 5 million for each family as part of its efforts to offer financial and legal support to the heirs of missing persons.
This was said by the minister during a media briefing about the choices made during the federal cabinet meeting that Prime Minister Shehbaz presided earlier today in Islamabad.
According to Tarar, the premier authorized the support package after considering the suggestions from earlier committees on the missing persons issue. The federal cabinet also examined and approved the package.
