In honor of their outstanding contributions to the country, President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the awarding of national honors to 104 deserving people, including both foreign and Pakistani nationals.
Pakistan Day, March 23, 2025, will see a unique ceremony when these honors would be given out.
Among the deserving recipients are:
Pakistan’s Nishan-e
A posthumous award will be given to the late prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in recognition of his exceptional achievements to public service.
Shujaat-e-Sitara
Posthumously, Zakir Hussain Baloch was the Panjgur deputy commissioner.
Captain (retd) Hamza Anjum and Malik Sabz Ali (posthumously).
Pakistan’s Sitara
Engineer Abdullah Al-Sawaha and Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasbi.
Hilal-e-Imtiaz
Arshad Nadeem, an Olympian, will get an award in the sports category.
