Former prime minister Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated, has unveiled the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) deserters policy, saying that individuals who abandoned the party in hard times would not be accepted back.
Speaking to reporters at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, the PTI founder declared, “I want to clearly state that there is no space for those who abandoned the party during difficult times.”
The beleaguered party founder said he knows who left the party amid difficult times, but he would not name names. “There is no place for those who were involved in the party during the good times but left during the bad,” he continued.
Nonetheless, the ousted premier claimed that people who experienced violence during trying times, including extortion and abuse on their families, did not leave the party should rest assured.
