Sohaib Ahmed Bharth, the Punjab Law Minister, stated on Friday that neither the province cabinet nor the Ministry of Law has discussed or suggested moving the PTI founder’s case to a military court.
Speaking to the media at the Chief Minister’s House, Bherth emphasized that the Ministry of Communications’ first attempt at e-tendering is intended to successfully reduce corruption. He clarified that by closely following PEPRa regulations, the e-tendering system was created to guarantee fairness and transparency in the procurement process, hence removing potential for corruption.
“Despite the transition of government, ongoing projects from the PTI era continue without interruption.”
He declared that the administration is dedicated to upholding the rule of law and that it has a zero-tolerance attitude against corruption.
