After receiving the “Letter of Credence” from Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, US President Joe Biden emphasized the importance of Washington’s ties with Islamabad for “regional stability and security.”
In a ceremony held at the Blair residence, the official guest residence of the US president, in Washington, DC, Sheikh gave Biden his credentials, according to a statement issued by the Pakistani Embassy in the US on Wednesday.
For the peace and security of the area, the partnership between our two nations is still crucial. “We value Pakistani and US collaboration in thwarting terrorist threats,” Biden declared during the event.
According to the US president, going forward, there is “a desire to build upon our bilateral relationship and strengthen” connections between the two nations.
