Four people, including young girls and women, were killed when a speeding truck plowed over many attendees at a wedding ceremony in Gojra. Eight more people were injured.
Yasmin, Asma, Nisha, and Namra were among the dead, and two small daughters were among the victims.
Following the event, emergency personnel and a large police presence came on the scene and took the injured and deceased to the hospital.
The regrettable incident happened close to Mansa Orh’s wedding location. When the out-of-control truck hit the children and other people wearing mehndi, they were walking.
The driver was able to escape the scene, but the vehicle has been seized by the police.
