In response to Iran’s attack on Israel, a number of Gulf-based airlines have modified their flight schedules to guarantee the safety of their passengers.
In order to avoid the worsening crisis, flight pilots are finding alternate routes while neighboring nations have blocked their airspace.
Airways Etihad
Due to airspace restrictions in some regions of the Middle East, Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi, said on Wednesday that it is rerouting a number of flights. As things change, Etihad said it will continue to keep an eye on airspace upgrades and security.
Airlines Emirates
On October 2 and 3, Emirates canceled all of its flights to and from Iran, Jordan, and Iraq (Basra and Baghdad). The airline keeps a careful eye on the situation in the area and stays in touch with the appropriate authorities to stay informed of any updates.
