A happier and healthier mental state can guarantee increased output and productivity at work. The declaration was given on Sunday at the Karachi Press Club during an event hosted by the Pakistan Association for Mental Health (PAMH) in honor of World Mental Health Day.
According to The News, PAMH President Dr. Syed Ali Wasif and rights campaigner Anis Haroon inaugurated the pharmaceutical booths to kick off the event.
‘It is time to prioritise mental health in the workplace’ is the theme for the year that the World Federation for Mental Health stated.
Under the sponsorship of Professor Syed Haroon Ahmed, the PAMH was founded in 1965 and has since been running free mental health clinics and awareness campaigns.
