On Tuesday, Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, the Minister for Power Division, declared that a firm plan had been implemented to fulfill the nation’s energy needs going forward.

He noted that the nation was also promoting environmentally friendly renewable energy, with an estimated 17,000 megawatts (MW) expected to be added to the system by 2034.
The electricity sector included distribution, transmission, and generation, but historically, the generation component was not included in a way that was healthy.
