In 2022, the Football Association declared that they wanted 75% of the WSL’s managers and head coaches to be women.
However, as of right now, only four of the twelve WSL clubs have female managers.
Dan Clements, the FA’s head of coaching development, told Sport, “It’s obviously a constant battle for us.”
