MULTAN: After early strikes, opener Saim Ayub and rookie Kamran Ghulam held their ground on Tuesday at the Multan Cricket Stadium, taking the total to 79-2 at lunchtime. This was the first day of the second Test.
After Jack Leach struck twice to remove opener Abdullah Shafique (7) and captain Shan Masood (3), Saim was batting on 40* after raising 60 runs with Kamran (29*).
