The amount of a marriage loan for Saudi residents has been significantly increased, with the Social Development Bank in Saudi Arabia announcing that it is now 72,000 Riyals.
According to reports, the loan can be paid back over the course of four years in affordable installments.
According to the conditions of the insurance policy, the bank has specified that in the event of the borrower’s death, the loan will be forgiven.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 70 in order to be eligible for the loan; those whose monthly income is more than 14,500 Riyals will not be accepted.
The loan is only intended for first weddings, however if the first wife has passed away, a loan could be approved for a second marriage.
