According to news Austin, 19-year-old suspect Richard Curtis was charged with aggravated robbery. At approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday, he allegedly entered an Austin Marco’s Pizza restaurant and spoke with a staff member.
According to news, Curtis sent the employee a note that said, “Don’t say s—t, empty the drawer.” According to an affidavit, he then showed the employee a revolver in his waistband.
While his coworker phoned the police, the astute employee grabbed the guy and placed him in a chokehold.
According to published reports, the manager of Marco’s Pizza removed Curtis’ gun from his waistband as he and the employee were fighting.
