Investor confidence surrounding the ongoing Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference has led to a spike in buying activity on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday. During the early trading hours, the benchmark KSE-100 Index increased by more than 600 points.
The index increased by 627.41 points, or 0.73%, to 86,467.75 by 10:40 AM. Considerable purchasing activity was observed in important industries like automakers, cement, chemicals, commercial banks, and oil and gas exploration firms. Prominent equities were moving in a good manner, including OGDC, PPL, PSO, HUBCO, and HBL.
