Punjab is still under threat from dengue, with 172 cases reported in the previous 24 hours throughout the provinces.
Details surfacing on Wednesday indicated that 157 cases of dengue had been recorded from Rawalpindi. Jehlum had reported two incidents, while Lahore had recorded eight.
Okara, Sargodha, Chakwal, Attock, and Gujranwala had each documented one instance.
In the meantime, the province has received reports of 3,771 instances thus far.
In Punjab, 904 instances had been registered in the previous seven days.
All public hospitals carry dengue and other medications in stock.
The Punjabi government wants to contain dengue.
Khawaja Imran Nazir, the Punjab Health Minister, was attempting to contain dengue in the region a few days ago.
