Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Tariq Masood has denied reports that he was shot at in Karachi’s Malir district and stated that he was safe.
There have been reports of an attack on me. “I’m doing great by God’s grace,” he posted on Facebook on Thursday. “Reports like these are untrue.”
Earlier, after reports of gunshots in Karachi targeting Masood’s car went viral, authorities and the Federal Investigation Agency acted.
According to accounts on social media, Masood’s car was shot at during the incident, which took place in the Malir area near Ghaghar Phatak.
