ISLAMABAD: In the D-Chowk protest case, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, the sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, have been granted bail by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad.
Regarding the case filed at the Kohsar police station in the federal capital, Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain gave the ruling on Friday.
On October 4, 2024, the two sisters were taken into custody.
With the mandamus, or the court order ordering the release of the Khan sisters, the attorneys representing the former ruling party have departed the Judicial Complex to go to jail.
The court made the directives after approving the bail for the two sisters of the former prime minister, which was secured by Rs 20,000 surety bonds each.
